Homage to Henri
Late in life, when Henri Matisse was losing his eyesight, he turned to making art using bright paper cutouts. Despite his failing eyesight, he still had the impulse to create art. Nothing could stop him. The purple, red, mauve and olive green cut outs pay homage to his determination.
